I'm a big fan of the metal models from Diecast. When I bought my first Take Along I fell in love with the quality and the attention for every little detail on the models. I like it that they look a lot like the characters from the TTTE episode's. 

In the years after I bought my first model and started my collection, the range has experienced several changes. The brand has been taken over by Fisher Price and was renamed to Take-n-Play. 

The most important difference from Take Along to Take-n-Play for me was the change of magnets; from square to round. That was also the moment I decided to stop collecting the newer releases.
I did not like this new look with bigger round magnets, in my eyes it doens't fit the style and finesse of the previous Take Along/Take-n-Play models. That makes it that the Take-n-Play part of my collection is only containing the models that have square magnets.

Enjoy browsing through my collection. I've spend a lot of time to make high quality photos/videos and added as much information as I could think of. There is still a lot that needs to be added so I could use some help finding the right info.

Last year I got the gold plated Thomas and now my collection is finally complete!
The Take-n-Play part of my collection is only missing the 2013 version of Molly (99%). Unfortunately I did not have time to finish this section. Hopefully this summer I can update my website with pictures and videos again!
